is no doubt that Colorado Springs is a city known for being the home of many fine Air
Force bases. These bases include Schriever AFB (formerly Falcon AFB), Cheyenne AS,
and Peterson AFB. There is also the proud distinction of having the United States
Air Force Academy and Norad located in Colorado Springs. Below, I have included a few links with some additional information you should know. AFB- Here is a great place to read a little bit more about the living
conditions in and around the base. As well as some important contacts that you may need. Peterson AFB- Here is some living quarters information for Peterson AFB. Peterson also provides housing for Schriever and Cheyenne Mountain AS personnel. Cheyene Mountain AS- Here you can find some great information about the Cheyenne Mountain Air Station and its history. |
